In recent years one of the most important figures for our Liverpool was Sadio Mané, a player who dazzled the world with his great speed and excellent technique. One of the key players in the recent success of the club and who, for many, has become a legend of the team as he managed to win everything at Anfield, including the hearts of the fans.
However, a year ago Sadio Mané surprised everyone. Teammates, fans, management and coaching staff, when he asked to leave the team to embark on a new adventure. The fans did not want Mané to leave, as playing for Liverpool he had become one of the best players in the world and was a true idol for many at Anfield, but he would not listen and decided to leave for FC Bayern.
At the German club, Sadio Mané realized that things would not be as he had imagined as his adaptation to the Bundesliga cost him more than he had thought. In addition, a turbulent season at FC Bayern, which led to the departure of their coach mid-season, caused even more uncertainty in the team and eventually Mané had problems with his teammate, Leroy Sané, and was suspended by the club.
Given this, both FC Bayern and Sadio Mané would be interested in severing their contractual ties, but it will not be easy for Mané to leave the team this summer unless a club comes along that wants to pay Bayern to sign him. The problem for the Senegalese striker is that there doesn't seem to be anyone interested in him.
While Sadio Mané might have made the biggest mistake of his career by leaving Liverpool, there is one player who, like Mané, betrayed the team and failed after doing so and now no team in Europe wants him. It is Philippe Coutinho who promised to be the new big star of the Reds, but decided to leave the club. He never showed again the level he showed in Liverpool and now his current club, Aston Villa no longer wants him, however there is no club interested in buying him.
