Five sons of former Premier League legends are currently part of the Liverpool Academy, one of whom has already made his top-flight debut for Jurgen Klopp's side. Their fathers were legends and now they are looking to forge their own path on Merseyside.
Of the five players, 17-year-old Bobby Clark, son of Lee Clark, has already made his Premier League debut, as Liverpool thrashed Bournemouth 9-0 last time out. Clark replaced Trent Alexander-Arnold in the 83rd minute. The youngster joined the Academy a year ago from Newcastle.
Another youngster is 16 year old Lewis 'Louie' Koumas, midfielder son of Jason Koumas. He joined the Academy (U11) from Tranmere Rovers and made his U18 debut as a U16 player in the 2021/22 campaign.
Keyrol Figueroa, 15, is a forward son of Maynor Figueroa. He took his first steps in the U14 and plays with the U18 as a first year scholar in the 2022/23 season. He extended his contract for 2 more years in May 2022.
Prince Kobe Cissé, 14 years old, striker and son of Djibril Cissé, has been with Liverpool since the age of 10. In July he made his first international (UEFA) appearance for Wales at U15/16 level, while 16-year-old striker Jayden Danns, son of Neil Danns, joined at the age of eight. He is a first year scholar for the U18s in the current campaign.
