Liverpool are reportedly keen on bringing Feyenoord midfielder Quinten Timber to Anfield this summer.
Timber's versatility is another attractive quality for Liverpool. He is capable of playing in a number of midfield roles and could provide valuable cover for several positions.
Interestingly, Quinten Timber is the younger brother of Arsenal defender Jurriën Timber, who has also impressed in the Premier League this season.
With Liverpool looking to strengthen their midfield options, Timber could be a shrewd acquisition for the Merseyside club. However, they will face competition from a number of other top European clubs.
The Reds are said to have been alerted to the Dutch international's availability and have made initial enquiries about a potential deal. Timber has been a standout performer for Feyenoord this season, catching the eye of several top European clubs.
It's understood that Liverpool manager Arne Slot is a big admirer of Timber and sees him as an ideal fit for his system. The 23-year-old midfielder has previously worked under Klopp's sucessor, Arne Slot, at Feyenoord, and the pair have forged a strong relationship.
