Liverpool urged fans to plan how to get to Anfield as Liverpool prepare to kick off their 2022-23 home season.

According to the team, the best way is to use public transport to travel quickly and comfortably to Anfield this season. The 917 Express bus service will run directly from Liverpool city centre to Anfield every 10 minutes on a match day.

The 501 bus service departs from Walton Lane, near the Anfield Road junction, costing £2.50 and upwards. Liverpool FC, Merseytravel and local transport operators continue to work together to make match day journeys more convenient for fans heading to Anfield.
