Jude Bellingham was one of Liverpool's big targets for next season, the talented British midfielder is a big fan of Jurgen Klopp's and would fit in perfectly with the German manager's system. However, all signs point to Real Madrid eventually securing the services of the England international. Given this situation, Anfield are not sitting on their hands and are already looking for alternatives for the inside centre-back position.
According to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, the Merseyside outfit already have several midfielders on their radar if the Bellingham option fails: Piotr Zielinski and Sofyan Amrabat. Both are Serie A players.

Zielinski, currently playing for Napoli, has a more attacking profile. The Polish international is the undisputed leader of the Neapolitan midfield and one of the main responsible for Spalletti's team's leadership in Serie A. The market value of the Polish midfielder is around 40 million, so if he wants to leave the Italian side, he will have to bring with him a big offer.
On the other hand, there is Amrabat, one of the sensations of the last World Cup in Qatar. The Netherlands-born Moroccan midfielder has a much more defensive, work-and-destroy profile. Amrabat is currently a starter at Fiorentina and his market value is 25 million. However, his great World Cup performances are sure to increase his market value, especially if the Premier League is interested in him.
Liverpool are looking at players with very different profiles, with both Zielinski and Amrabat possessing very different abilities to each other. The Pole could be the player most similar to Bellinghm, as he possesses a similar attacking quality to the Briton. However, their talents are not comparable. So, it seems that Anfield are now coming to terms with the fact that the arrival of Jude Bellingham is at a critical point and have focused on finding great alternatives for their midfield. Real Madrid, meanwhile, are inching ever closer to their desired galactic signing.
