Pharaoh financially overshadows ManU superstar in his professional prime

The English derby will be an epic battle between two clubs coming off the back of a triumph, as the Reds overcame Wolverhampton in the Premier League, the Red Devil's came from behind at Old Trafford against West Ham to reach the quarter-finals of the FA Cup and dream of another title this season, having recently won the Carabao Cup.

What began as a tragedy has somehow taken on heroic overtones at Anfield, as at one point in the season The Pool were tenth, and are now just one win away from snatching fifth place from Spurs. This is known to Mo Salah who is Liverpool's highest valued player, humbling Rashford himself.

Thanks to his talent and results, Mohamed Salah is the highest paid player in the squad. According to the website Salary Sports, the Egypt superstar earns $18 million a year, while Manchester United's Marcus Rashford earns over $11 million a year, with a difference of seven million a year that can be seen on the pitch.

Salah's 18million that overshadows Rashford's big-money move

Marcus, in his prime, has the opportunity to leave Old Trafford as a free agent, as his contract expires on 30 June 2023. The opposite is the case for Salah, who after his renewal, will remain tied to The Pool until June 2025, with a valuation of over 100 million, which limits his departure to another club in the next transfer window.
