Footballer harassed by fans after Reds draw with Brighton

The restart of the Premier League in its 9th round left us with a vibrant match from start to finish, where Liverpool FC and Brighton Hove Albion drew to three goals at the Anfield stadium. It was a game that had everything from great goals, comebacks and even out-of-place chants, especially from the away fans, who were enraged by the recent past of a former Red's player who now plays for the Seagulls.

"Adama Lallana, he's gone because you're shit (Liverpool)," defiantly chanted the visiting fans, who took advantage of the momentary advantage to take courage and chant chants that they said were justified by their club's current footballing form, where they are surprisingly in 4th place overall with 14 points, four more than Liverpool, who are 9th.

Jürgen Klopp's headache ahead of Brighton clash at Anfield

Adama Lallana arrived at Brighton & Hove in 2020 as a free agent, after his time at Liverpool FC, where he played seven seasons, from 14/15 to 19/20, where he no longer entered into the plans of coach Jürgen Klopp, who took the decision to renew the Red's attack and end the relationship with the 34-year-old English striker and Southampton's youth academy player.

The constant injuries that Adama has suffered throughout his career have kept him away from his great level, the same one that once surprised Liverpool FC, as Lallana was the captain of 'The Saints' and was even part of the 'ideal eleven' of the Premier League in the 2013-2014 season. As a result, the Red's rocked the transfer market and paid Southampton's €31 million asking price in the summer of 2014.

Minimising the Brighton fans' chants about Lallana, which were silenced by the loyal Liverpool fans who pushed the club for the result, Adama Lallana entered the legendary Anfield ground, where he won the 18/19 UEFA Champions League, 19/20 Premier League, 19/20 European Super Cup and 2019 Club World Cup, in what are so far the Englishman's only titles.
