Firmino has been a Liverpool player for more than seven years and could become the 15th Liverpool player to score every day of the week.

Roberto Firmino can become Liverpool's 15th player to score every day of the week when they play Crystal Palace on Monday night as part of the second week of the Premier League.

The Brazilian started last weekend's 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage against Fulham. At this stage, we don't know if Roberto Firmino will start against Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace, given the impressive play of Darwin Nunez coming off the bench.

Roberto Firmino is one of Liverpool's longest-serving squad members, with 98 goals in all competitions, and is on the verge of joining Liverpool's exclusive "100 club" this season.

This could also be his 200th Premier League game for Liverpool if Jurgen Klopp chooses the Brazilian in place of new signing Darwin Nunez or if he comes on as a second-half substitute. Liverpool are looking to extend their unbeaten Premier League run to 21 games as Firmino seeks a new feat.

Meanwhile, the debate is at contrasting points, with some claiming that Nunez is better off coming off the bench to shake up the game, with Firmino starting, while others think the Uruguayan is ready to start and have spectacular games with the great striker Liverpool have assembled for this season. Klopp has the final say and we will know a couple of hours before Monday's game at Anfield.
