In the recent years in which our Liverpool has conquered European football, we have had great players in our team that have been consecrated as great figures of our club. However, with the passing of time more and more players who were part of that golden generation have left Anfield and it seems that the Saudi Arabian league is a destination that has caught their attention.
In recent days there has been much talk about Jordan Henderson's imminent departure to the Saudi Pro League, where he will join former Liverpool legend and teammate Steven Gerrard at Al-Ettifaq, where he would receive one of the highest salaries in the world for a footballer, as he could earn up to £700k per week.
In addition to Henderson, the Saudi Pro League could also be on the verge of landing one of Klopp's most important players in recent years as it has been reported that 29-year-old Brazilian midfielder Fabinho is also very close to joining the exotic Saudi league with Al-Ittihad, the team that already signed Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kanté this summer. Similarly, Roberto Firmino has already joined Al-Ahli, having completed his contract at Anfield, and is another of Liverpool's recent legends to play in Saudi Arabia, but all indications are that there is another player who was with the club last season who will join that list.
According to several reports, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be the Saudi Pro League's new acquisition, as the former Liverpool midfielder who won everything with the Anfield club has attracted the interest of some Saudi clubs to which he could arrive at zero cost, as he is a free agent.
