The 23-year-old attracted people's attention last season with 36 goal contributions for his team across all competitions; this season, he has carried that form over with 13 goals and 17 assists in 24 appearances, due to these performances, both Leeds United and Manchester United showed a lot of interest in Gakpo during the summer transfer window. 

Pep Lijnders is said to be a fan of the attacker, and Liverpool is another squad that has been mentioned in this discussion. Cody Gakpo, a forward for PSV, has acknowledged that he is flattered by rumors connecting him to a transfer to the Premier League but wants to 'concentrate' on his game. The forward, who is currently leading the World Cup for the Netherlands.
