The 200 million Jürgen Klopp plans to save Liverpool

One of the biggest disappointments so far this season in European football has undoubtedly been Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool. Given this situation, it is clear that this season is practically lost for the Merseyside side, so all Klopp's work will focus on trying to secure Champions League places and then focus all financial efforts on carrying out a much-needed revitalisation of the squad, especially in midfield. In this sense, according to The Daily Mail, Liverpool have already defined their first two priorities for the upcoming summer transfer window with the incorporation of Jude Bellingham and Matheus Nunes in two transfers that, together, could cost around 200 million euros.

Of course, a large part of that figure would go to Borussia Dortmund's English midfielder, who is also wanted by other European giants such as Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, among others. And, without going any further, as Sport Bild affirmed, the German team expects to pay 150 million for the midfielder born in Stourbridge, taking into account that the 19 year old footballer aims to be one of the great dominators of the beautiful game in Europe. So, as we said, a large part of the money would go towards signing Bellingham.

However, no less expensive would be the signing of the second priority in the upcoming summer transfer window to reinforce the midfield, Matheus Nunes, as the current Wolverhampton player has become one of the most decisive pivots in the competition at just 24 years of age. Moreover, considering that the Portuguese is under contract until June 2027 and that Wolves paid 45 million for him, it is clear that Julen Lopetegui's side will not accept less than 50 million.
