Jürgen Klopp believed he could become the next big thing in world football

Our Liverpool continues its search for new players, and as it had been predicted since the end of last season, the priority for Jürgen Klopp would be to sign young players of great talent and great potential, as the German tactician wants to carry out a reconstruction of the team for the future.

That is why, over the last few weeks, Liverpool have been the subject of multiple rumors linking them to such players, and although so far the Reds' board has managed to sign two excellent reinforcements such as Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, it has been reported that Klopp is in search of more reinforcements for this summer.

However, as in every transfer window, you have to compete with other teams who also want to sign the same targets. This time, Liverpool's board had to face off against Real Madrid's board, as both Carlo Ancelotti and Jürgen Klopp would have set their eyes on the same player, an 18-year-old Turkish youngster that many have called "Turkey's Messi".

We are talking about Arda Güler, who at 18 years old has aroused the interest of two of the biggest teams in the world. At first it was said that our Liverpool was leading the race to sign him, since Güler's termination clause is just 17.5 million euros, a very affordable amount. However, all indications are that Real Madrid have emerged triumphant from this battle and are now very close to completing the signing of Arda Güler.

Madrid's offer for Arda Güler

According to several journalists, Real Madrid has reached an agreement with Fenerbahce to sign Arda Güler for a total price close to 20 million euros plus variables that would not exceed 30 million. The player would have chosen to go to Madrid over FC Barcelona and the official announcement is expected to be made in a matter of hours or days.
