French champions continue to revamp their squad

The tension in Paris over Kylian Mbappé's supposed departure from PSG has been the central theme of the last few weeks in Ligue 1, with PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaïfi sending an ultimatum to his star player a few weeks ago when El Chiringuito claimed that the 24-year-old would now arrive in Madrid.

"Mbappé will not leave for free, he has a contract. If he wants to stay here, he will have to sign a new contract," the PSG boss told ESPN. But it is not only Kylian who could leave Paris Saint-Germain, but also Renato Sanches, the latest gem of Portuguese football who is being watched by Jürgen Klopp; 23 games and 2 goals last season.

The Red's captain defends his place in Klopp's XI every day, and the arrival of Mac Allister and Szobo has made a competitive midfield, Jordan knows that another signing could send him to the bench, as Klopp's idea is still firm, to renew the squad. Renato Sanches is priced according to Transfermarkt at 15 million, an affordable figure for the Premiership market.

Renato Sanches began his career in 2014 with Benfica B, where he spent two years before moving up to the first team, from which point it only took one great season for German giants Bayern Munich to sign him and loan him out for a season to Swansea City. That earned him a move to Lille in 2019, until 2022 where he settled in Paris.
