Kylian Mbappé has been linked with Liverpool, but his signing looks unlikely

Once again the soap opera of the summer is the future of Kylian Mbappé, as the Paris Saint-Germain French striker has once again put his future with the Parisian club in doubt by telling officials that he does not intend to renew his contract beyond 2024, meaning that in a year's time he will become a free agent and could sign for any club in the world without PSG getting a single euro for his departure.

This scenario is something that PSG executives want to avoid at all costs, and would have given Mbappé an ultimatum. Either he signs a new renewal or they will sell him this year. It was then that our Liverpool's name was linked with a possible transfer attempt to bring the young superstar to Anfield and it was even said that the Reds management would have launched a 200 million bid for Mbappé.

However, everything seems to indicate that Kylian has no intention of leaving France this summer and furthermore everything points to Real Madrid being his main option to continue his career when his link with PSG ends. However, several reports claim that Liverpool will try to strike a blow to the French club, because although they know that their chances of bringing Mbappé are almost nil, they could snatch another of the great figures that the Parisian team has.

Who is the PSG player Klopp wants to bring to Anfield?

According to several journalists, our Liverpool has been looking to strengthen its midfield for several weeks, and it seems that Jürgen Klopp has a bombshell signing planned. It seems that the German tactician has his eye on Marco Verratti, the Italian midfielder who has become a PSG star in recent years and is currently valued at around €45 million.
