No more lies, here's the reason why Klopp doesn't trust Endo to play as number 6

It's not the time yet?

It's not the time yet?

Wataru Endo came in this season as a solution to the serious losses of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson, as well as the injuries to Thiago Alcántara and Stefan Bajčetić, as the team was left without a defensive midfielder, and it was a big question as to who was going to occupy that position, as all the midfielders who were there had a more attacking vocation.

With the arrival of the Japanese, it was believed that he would be in charge of completing the midfield with Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, however Jürgen Klopp has not given him enough confidence so that Wataru can be in charge of recovering balls and so Mac Allister can play a totally offensive role.

Endo was captain of Stuttgart in the Bundesliga where he showed his great quality and defensive characteristics, being a player with great sacrifice helping all over the field, with a great reading of the game and great recovery, however at Anfield he has not been able to gain the confidence of Klopp

After his arrival at Anfield Wataru was a complete unknown, however with his statements and with the emotional farewell video he made for Stuttgart he won the respect of many, however the reason why he has not been able to be a starter is because he has not adapted and has not yet been able to show his full level.

Endo needs a lot of time?

His adaptation has been slow, but the Japanese is ready to play when Klopp needs him, so it is likely that by the second half of this season he will be able to start getting more playing time and his patience and dedication will be rewarded, as he is a very disciplined and humble player.
