Egyptian striker shares second place on England's highest paid players list

Mohamed Salah not only attracts attention for being the leader of his national team and Liverpool's attacking leader, but now, thanks to the contract renewal announced on Friday, he is also in the spotlight as one of the highest paid players in the world.

The English newspaper The Sun published the list of the highest paid players in the Premier League, reviewing team by team. Within that list, we can see the big names of each team and the salary they receive for defending the shirt of their clubs, and there, Mo Salah occupies the first places.

How much does Mohamed Salah earn?

To give you an idea, the Liverpool striker earns £180,000 more per week than his team's second-ranked Virgil Van Dijk. Mohamed Salah's new contract indicates that he will earn £400,000 per week, the same as Kevin De Bruyne at Manchester City, the rivals with whom they have fought for the title the last two seasons.

In first place is Cristiano Ronaldo with Manchester United, who earns 510 thousand pounds a week, and despite the fact that this season the Red Devils did not have their best performance, it is the price to pay for a superstar of that caliber.
