The Liverpool striker has a large family with some very striking characters

The Diaz Marulanda family is made up of four siblings, including Liverpool striker Luis Diaz (25), followed by Anny Diaz (23), Roller Diaz (20) and Jesus Diaz (17). Video: Roller Diaz, brother of Luis Diaz speaks as they commonly do in their locality in Colombia. The brothers are passionate about football, but Roller David Díaz Marulanda is the most 'crazy' and multifaceted of the brothers.

The Barranquilla media have interviewed Roller Díaz to find out about his current football career and some inside information about his family. It is when he speaks that everything starts to sound strange, his accent is what doesn't sit well with the fans of the Diaz Marulanda family.

Roller is currently playing for Academia Coimbra's U23 team in the second division of Portuguese football. "I went on holiday to my brother's, then I went to some training sessions, the coach liked me, I tried out for about two months and then I joined the team," Roller said. From being an attacker in Junior de Barranquilla's youth team, he went on to play right-back in Portugal.

"I'm fast, strong and I'm characterised by my speed (...) I've played as a winger, as a midfielder and as a goalkeeper". On whether being Luis Diaz's brother weighs on him he said, "It always weighs, but I have my characteristics and my game and I know that's not why." Roller sings, dances and does everything, he is the soul of the meetings with his witticisms. But his opponents say he is 'big' because of his accent and his style.
