England's Jude Bellingham, Real Madrid's recent signing, acknowledged that the pressure "has followed him everywhere" and that is why he does not think it will be a "problem" for him to face a new stage in his career at Real Madrid, where he arrives from Borussia Dortmund in exchange for 103 million euros plus 30% in variables. "The pressure has followed me everywhere. There have been high expectations of me everywhere and I hope that my experience will help me to deal with this. I don't think I'm going to have a problem," he told a press conference.

On the other hand, Bellingham was proud that Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti wanted to bring him on board. "I've been able to talk to him. He is an incredible coach. It's an incredible opportunity to be coached by one of the best coaches in history. I'm delighted that he wants me in my team". At his presentation, the 19-year-old England midfielder admitted that his father "doesn't cry often" and that he did so during his presentation ceremony because "it's a special moment for him". For his part, he chose the moment that remains with him from his presentation as a new player of the Merengues. "The room where I signed with the 14 Champions League trophies in the background... you can't wait to hold one in your hands. It was wonderful to be there. That was the most impressive moment for me".

Following the Englishman's presentation to Real Madrid, former player Jose Enrique, who captained Liverpool at one point in his career, fiercely criticised the Merseyside outfit's owners for not making the effort to sign Bellingham, despite the incredible amount of money he would represent.

Criticism on Twitter

“Is crazy that this man is no wearing red because we didn't want to put the money in the table. I understand we are no city or psg but if vvd and Alisson show us something is that sometimes you need to go that step forward even if it is expensive to get the best player”
