Brazil superstar Alisson Becker took yet another opportunity to talk about the qualities of Liverpool FC manager Jürgen Klopp. For the South American goalkeeper, working with Klopp is an honour, and that since his signing with the Red's, his career has taken a major step forward, marking him out as one of the best goalkeepers in the game today.

After beating Ghana in Brazil's penultimate warm-up game ahead of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Becker spoke to the local media and answered their questions, one of whom asked him about his relationship with the German coach. "He (Jürgen Klopp) is an incredible coach, a fantastic person. I admire him a lot. I'm very happy to work with him. Every day is unique because he is a guy who knows football," he said.

For Bekcer, Klopp is a unique coach with a spectacular playing philosophy. "He is a very intelligent person who every day excites us through the passion he has for football. He listens to us on every problem we have and tells us to play free, to enjoy football. I am very happy to play for him," commented the 2019 Copa America champion.

Alisson Becker arrived at Anfield in the summer of 2018 for an exorbitant €62.5 million plus variables. At the age of 25, Becker was one of AS Roma's most important figures in Italy's Serie A, making him the most expensive goalkeeper in history, surpassing Gianluigi Buffon's arrival at Juventus by a further 20 million euros.

After putting on the gloves and defending the Red's goal, Alisson Becker has been an important part in winning the following titles: UEFA Champions League 2018/2019, UEFA Super Cup 2019/2020, FIFA Club World Cup 2019, Premier League 2019/2020, FA Cup 2021/2022, League Cup 2021/2022 and recently the Community Shield 2022.
