Jürgen Klopp considers him one of Liverpool's great gems

One of Liverpool's main priorities for next season is to rejuvenate the squad and to achieve this, Jürgen Klopp has set the goal of signing young players with great potential, who can shore up the team to return to the Champions League as soon as possible, but he also wants to keep the team's promising young players to give them more minutes throughout the year.

However, it will not be easy to keep the young players who believe they deserve more playing minutes, because although Klopp wants to put them to play more often, the reality is that they will not be the first names in the lineup in important games, so several of them would be willing to find more playing time in other teams.

In that sense, during the last few weeks there has been talk about the interest aroused by Fabio Carvalho in other teams, who would even be willing to sign him on a permanent basis. The most interested in signing the 20-year-old Portuguese midfielder is RB Leipzig, a Bundesliga team that will even play in the next Champions League.

It was reported that Fabio Carvalho would have been very interested in the proposal of the German clubl who made an offer to Liverpool's board to buy Carvalho, however on Klopp's instructions the offer was rejected because the German tactician is not willing to get rid of the player definitively, so they tried to reach another agreement and finally it is official: Fabio Carvalho will not play next season at Anfield.

Carvalho is leaving for Leipzig, but...

According to information from journalist Fabrizio Romano, Fabio Carvalho will play on loan with RB Leipzig next season, after the deal is finalized next week and the player completes medical examinations. He also assured that Liverpool never had any intention of accepting a permanent purchase proposal.
