Liverpool legends to play against Manchester United

Five more players have been added to the Liverpool Football Club Legends squad for the upcoming meeting at Anfield with their Manchester United counterparts.

Fabio Aurelio, Mark González, Stéphane Henchoz, Andriy Voronin and Sander Westerveld will be part of Sir Kenny Dalglish's squad for the Northern Legends match on Saturday 24 September (kick-off 15:00 BST).

These five players join Robbie Keane, Steve McManaman, Jerzy Dudek, Momo Sissoko and Bjorn Tore Kvarme in Dalglish's ranks, with more to be announced soon. Gonzalez scored twice in the first leg of the Northern Legends in May, helping the Reds to a 3-1 win at Old Trafford.

LFC Foundation

All ticket proceeds from next month's match at Anfield, organised by the LFC Foundation in association with Forever Reds, the official association of former LFC players, will go to the LFC Foundation.   Tickets for the match are on sale now, priced at £27 for adults, £7 for juniors and £17 for over 65s.
