The sporting crisis has taken over Liverpool's dressing room. Injuries are not helping and the competitive level of the players is at rock bottom. The Anfield team continues to suffer the matches in England and this time the bad moment they are going through was exposed again. They went down to Brighton & Hove Albion without putting up a fight.

Without a doubt, Jürgen Klopp could be going through the worst crisis at Liverpool since he took over as manager. Injuries are not helping and the German tactician cannot find a way to get several of his star players back to their best. That bad moment was once again on display on another Premier League matchday, where the Reds were utterly embarrassed.

Tough defeat to Brighton and Klopp has already decided when he will leave Liverpool

The home side feasted on Liverpool in a way they had not seen for a long time. Brighton took it upon themselves to completely expose all the defensive frailties that Klopp's side have had in the 22/23 season. With this result, Liverpool remain languishing in the middle of the Premier League table. In 18 games played, they have picked up 28 points which puts them partially in eighth place in the standings. However, they are already too far away from the top of the table. Currently, Arsenal is the leader of the championship with 44 points.

Firmino out

Among the bad news at Liverpool remains the possibility that Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino could leave the club at the end of the season. The striker has not signed a contract and with an injury keeping him out of action, his future with Liverpool does not look set to continue.
