Although the team won 5-0 in Germany, there are still concerns over a number of players' fitness issues.

Jurgen Klopp has a number of problems to solve ahead of the start of the Premier League. And although he has so far managed two consecutive victories against Crystal Palace in Singapore and RB Leipzig in Germany, the physical problems of some players are still a matter of concern for the manager.

Klopp's words

"Very much. We need that time now. We are not even close to where we want to be physically. We have to get there. The weather and everything is difficult, it will be difficult in Austria as well. It's good. We have to get through this, we have to work extremely hard and then we will be fine. I'm not sure if we will be fine against Salzburg because now we really go for it, but we will give it a try. The most important part of pre-season starts now.

"We always think that if you pay a lot of money, players don't feel pressure or whatever. They are all completely normal human beings and the first touch is not perfect and then all of a sudden... what happened with Nunez," he added.

Nunez managed to vindicate himself with the fans and his teammates by netting four of the team's five goals in this start to the preseason, which looked complicated before the game against Leipzig because he had failed to score any goals.
