Injuries against Arsenal alter Nunez's performance

Darwin Nunez is still unable to score goals for the Reds, so Jürgen Klopp has already been able to find a position where he could be a key player. While Nunez has shown the quality to play as a false 9, playing further back and helping his teammates in the pressure. So taking advantage of the injury of their left wingers, as Diogo Jota still has no return date and Luis Diaz was injured against Arsenal. So the one chosen to replace Diaz was Nunez who gave a great game on the left wing, where his great speed was decisive so that the Arsenal defenders could not stop him.

Although Nunez was unable to score goals or provide assists for his teammates, the Reds' attack benefited from the introduction of Nunez, who ended up pinning the Gunners down on his side of the pitch at certain times of the game.

Nunez drove the Gunners defence crazy when, in one Reds attack, Nunez was seen dribbling past three Arsenal players who could do nothing to stop him. It certainly made it clear that Nunez could become a creator of chances down the left flank.

Reversing roles with Gakpo

Now they could try playing Dutchman Cody Gakpo as a centre forward, while Darwin would move to the wing, perhaps this could be a new idea that could bring joy to the Reds. Looking for more and new alternatives to make the Reds no longer drop points.
