Liverpool have not shown a radical change in their performance

Despite the changes made by German manager Jürgen Klopp for the start of Tuesday's game at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea, Liverpool have not shown a radical change in their performance and have had a difficult first half despite going into the break with a goalless draw as several players continue to show that they are far from their best.

Klopp made six moves, bringing on the likes of Darwin Nunez, Roberto Firmino, Kostas Tsimikas, Joe Gomez and Curtis Jones. In contrast, the likes of Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk, Andrew Robertson, Harvey Elliot, Cody Gakpo and Trent Alexander Arnold, all of whom underperformed in the 4-1 drubbing by Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium last Saturday, did not start.

It should be noted that Virgil Van Dijk's absence was due to illness which prevented him from training normally the day before the game. However, according to The Athletic newspaper, he will be ready for Sunday's match against Arsenal at Anfield in the 30th round of the Premier League and where the Reds will be obliged to get the win.

Alex Chamberlain sidelined

However, according to several sources, Alex Chamberlain, who was given the opportunity by Jurgen Club to appear for Manchester City but his performance was so poor that he is not even on the bench for the Chelsea game and because Luis Diaz is ready to return, there is no longer a place for him and his contract expires in the summer and he will not be re-signed.
