Cristiano Ronaldo surprised the world by giving an exclusive interview with Piers Morgan in the UK, days before the World Cup kicks off. On Sunday 13 November, parts of the interview were released, in which he slammed Manchester United managers, coach and former teammates.
Now some of what he said about what he thinks of the club's owners, the Glazer brothers, the difference with the 'top' clubs in England and his 'love' for the team has been revealed. "They didn't believe me that something was wrong (his daughter's illness). "It's painful because they doubted my word. That's why I didn't attend pre-season. I had to be there for my family."

"The Glazers (brothers) don't care about the club from a sporting perspective, only marketing. I have never spoken to the Glazers since I came back. They give the power to the chairman and the manager. The fans are always right (constant criticism of the owners) and they should know the truth. The players want the best for the club, so do I. That's why I came to the club. That's why I came to the club, I love the club."
"In my opinion, it will be difficult for Manchester United to be a top team again in the next two or three years. It was a year ago, or six months ago we were here, at my house, Wayne Rooney came to pick up his kids and invited my son to his house to play football. He's probably (jealous), he finished his career at 30 and me, I'm still playing at a high level."
This dispute leaves Cristiano Ronaldo with the need to find a new team. And while he has always rivalled Liverpool, he has a good concept of the club and its fans because of the minute's silence they held on the death of his son. That is why the Reds are becoming an option and the player that Jürgen Klopp could remove from the line-up to give him a place would be Roberto Firmino, as according to local media, his renewal would be complicated and he would leave the club soon.
