Henderson is struggling while Endo adapts to Anfield

After the departure of Jordan Henderson it was believed that this would be very detrimental to Liverpool, as they were left without a leader, plus there was no one to replace the midfielder, so at the time of his departure seemed to be a very sensitive low for the Reds, however this seems to be changing throughout this season where it has been seen who has really been the most affected by this decision.

Jordan Henderson has suffered a lot since his arrival in the Middle East, initially because he abandoned his support for the LGBT community and his departure seems to have been mainly influenced by money, which many Liverpool fans did not take kindly to, and this was demonstrated during the international break when he was booed at Wembley.

So his departure from Liverpool does not seem to have been the best choice, his contract in Arabia runs until 2026, so it will be a tough ride in the Middle East. Meanwhile in Liverpool, the team is playing well and the reinforcements are playing an important role, helping the team, and after the game against Toulouse, Wataru Endo had a great game where he scored a good header after a very precise cross from Trent Alexander Arnold.

So Endo already scored his first goal at Anfield and with this he already surpassed Jordan Henderson in at least the last two years, as Jordan Henderson's last goal for the Reds was in the 2021/22 season in a Merseyside derby, giving the winning goal to the Reds, So Hendo now has the chance to make Liverpool fans momentarily forget Henderson, as Wataru has a great delivery to show for his quality and is another leader on the pitch with qualities very similar to those shown by Hendo during his time at Anfield.

Endo to make history at Anfield

Another very sensitive loss at the club was that of James Milner, who also played in the same position as Endo, in addition Milner also arrived at the Reds at a more mature age reaching 29 years of age while the Japanese is 30 years old, so Wataru has a great opportunity to make his own history at Anfield and it seems that he is starting in a great way his stay at Liverpool.
