The return of an old acquaintance is approaching

After Liverpool had faced their third UEFA Europa League match against Toulouse in a spectacular way, the group led in strategies by Jürgen Klopp is already planning what will be their confrontation against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League, with this duel having great interest by the attendees in the Anfield stands, since during those 90 minutes of the tenth matchday they could meet their footballer Divock Origi again.

The Belgian footballer of Kenyan descent could have a few minutes of participation with the Tricky Trees in this duel that would undoubtedly be special for him, and this forward had an acceptable past under the Liverpool shirt between the 2019, 2018 and 2021 seasons. -2022, playing just over 170 games during those campaigns, managing to accumulate a total of 41 goals.

Although Jürgen Klopp himself has expressed his desire to be able to see this forward step on the Anfield field again even if he is the rival on duty, the final decision on whether or not Divock Origi should see activity this coming Sunday will be made by coach Steve Cooper, a strategist who has used the former Reds player as an offensive booster for the second half.

Perhaps Origi's non-appearance for the match against Luton raises questions about his possible participation in this tenth round of PL, and given the little positive response that Divock has had every time he comes on as a substitute, perhaps and coach Steve Cooper decides to spare his skills for a match that is of utmost importance to the Tricky Trees.

Origi not forgotten on Merseyside

Despite Origi having had his best moment in his career wearing the colors of Liverpool, in four seasons this player could not establish himself as one of the leaders of an offensive sector full of stars, but even with that, Divock has not been forgotten by the Reds fans who are waiting for his participation at Anfield on Sunday to be able to greet him even though he is now his rival.
