One of the exists that Liverpool’s supporters, followers, and fans really felt was Fabinho’s. The Brazilian midfielder was one of the team’s hearts in the center of the field each time that Reds played at Anfield or away. After five years in the English club, bought for 45 million euros from Monaco in 2018, the bold football player was sold for 46.7 million euros to Al Ittihad this summer transfer market.

Fabinho was one of the football stars who decided to emigrate to Saudi Arabia to earn more money than in Europe. Sadly, this was not the unique case for Liverpool who left behind the Reds’ glorious adventure: the English midfielder Jordan Henderson, his former teammate, is playing now in Al Ettifaq.

Al Ittihad is one of the best Saudi Arabia’s clubs currently. Besides, is one of the clear favorite teams to win the national league, and in every tournament, they will compete this season. This panorama is justified by the kinds of players the mentioned club has: the French Karim Benzema, the midfielder Ngolo Kante, the Brazilian goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe, and the offensive Romarinho.

Saudi Arabia’s league started last weekend, and Al Ittihad won 3-0 against Al Raed at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium. After a disputed first half, Fabinho’s team could solve the game in the second period: Abderrazak Hamdallah scored the first goal and Igor Coronado scored the other two. And the fans left the stadium so happy about the great performance.

The gift Fabinho received in the mixed zone after the game

After the match, Liverpool's legend was leaving the stadium very happy and was stopped in the mixed zone by one Al Ittihad’s fan to give him a very expensive gift: a Rolex watch. The Arab supporter put it on his wrist and Fabinho thanked him for the good gesture. In the Middle East, is very common for people to give clocks as a gift to tourists and foreign visitors.
