How many times have Chelsea and Liverpool drawn?

Reds and Blues repeat the same story

Reds and Blues repeat the same story

When Liverpool were thought to have a great chance of beating Chelsea on Matchday 1 of the Premier League, a one-goal draw was perhaps the fairest scoreline of the two sides, but not for those in the stands, who may have grown tired of seeing the rivalry between the two sides deteriorate as the scores have been level.

The one-goal draw at Stamford Bridge only served to add to a streak of one-all scorelines from some time ago, and according to the Bill and Bob's Tavern Twitter account, Liverpool and Chelsea have now played out seven consecutive draws in all competitions.

This does not look good for both the Reds and the Blues, and after having created an excellent rivalry with dramatic matches that were decided in the last minutes of the game, now the situation seems to have changed with closer duels, where a 2-2 draw two seasons ago was one of the last good results with a share of the points between the teams.

The rematch will be in January

This negative streak only got bigger at Chelsea's stadium for the time being, with a possible end to the whole affair for matchday 22 to be played on the last day of January next year, with Anfield being the perfect venue for a rematch in January.
