Liverpool are still struggling to find their best form

Liverpool are still struggling to find their best form. In the FA Cup knockout game, they took on Brighton, who a few weeks ago had beaten them in the Premier League, so manager Jurgen Klopp had a careful strategy, but he was also thinking about hurting the Seagulls.

In the first half it was academy player Harvey Elliot who was the star for Liverpool, scoring a goal in the 30th minute thanks to a great assist from Mohamed Salah. But then the Seagulls equalised with a goal from defender Dunk. This again complicated the situation for the Reds.

But by the second half, Liverpool's performance was again poor. Klopp made changes that did little to change the signature of the game. But the one who was furthest from a good performance was Dutchman Cody Gakpo who played as a centre forward and had no chance to score.

Faced with this critical moment, mockery has been quick to appear. In social networks, the player who has received the most criticism is the Dutch player Cody Gakpo, who was compared to a turtle for the slowness of his game. To this, the former Liverpool player, José Enrique, responded with irony: don't be bad. You can't compare him with mane, firmino in terms of quality no Klopp or I say that but it is true that I can see where he is coming from saying that he is a false 9. Don't see him as winger.
