The Three Lions have decided to give the England coach, who has failed of late, another chance; UEFA Nations League and Qatar 2022.

A month after the final of the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup, where the England team once again fell by the wayside despite arriving at the tournament with a great generation of players that coach Garrett Southgate could not make work, and now it has been revealed that he will continue in charge of the national team, a superstar has exploded, as his presence in the national team is in danger.

Reds star Trent Alexander-Arnorld confessed that after the World Cup in Qatar, he was saddened by the elimination at the hands of France, and also by his lack of involvement, believing he could have helped his team-mates win the title they have been denied for over 50 years. Trent played just 34" minutes in the match against Wales, which the Rose team won 3-0.

For this second World Cup experience, the Liverpool defender was hoping to be more taken into account by Southgate, who paradoxically was England's coach at the Russia 2018 World Cup, and also gave the 24-year-old just one game, which was in the Group Stage against Belgium. Now with this decision by Southgate, Alexander-Arnorld's chances of a call-up are drastically reduced.

According to the Daily Mail, the England manager revealed that it was his family who convinced him to stay in charge of the national team, and he is already planning England's qualification for the next European Championship in 2024. "They (my family) left Doha saying you have to give it one more chance and try to get this trophy. You need that energy, you need that sense of togetherness," Southgate recently told ITV News.

This decision disappointed a section of the fans, because since the Three Lions finished bottom of their group in the UEFA Nations League, a situation that saw them relegated, things were not looking good, and even on social media, you can read that having reached the quarter-finals in Qatar, only made up a World Cup for a team that need changes, or a greater commitment.
