While Liverpool's squad has shown much improvement over the last month, there are at least a couple of players who are still unable to find their best form due to injury, with Arthur Melo and Naby Keita the worst affected with absences that have kept them off the pitch for virtually the entire season, with their under-performance already vying for the Reds' worst player status.
While Juventus-bound midfielder Arthur Melo showed some improvement in his level by undergoing a tough training camp to get him in top physical condition to be eligible for Jurgen Klopp, his left thigh injury sent him out for a long time without even a chance to showcase the work he has put in, with the Brazilian now appearing on social media to be further away from the squad by engaging in off-the-field activities.

While the emergency reinforcement could not even accumulate a full game with the Reds, on the other hand Naby Keita was already warning Liverpool of his inconsistency with his football due to physical ailments that left him out for long periods of time, showing this fact in this campaign to be more time out of training than being part of them, and when it finally seemed that everything was going perfectly and soon we could see him enter even as a change, it has already been reported that the Guinean has been injured again.
So little has been the productivity of these two players that there is a battle between them to see who is the least bad element of the season, being so easy to beat the other just by stepping on the pitch and playing a couple of minutes in a Premier League match, as both have no record of activity that counts for their careers.
While Keita has been a failure as the seasons in England have progressed with less and less football activity due to injuries, Arthur Melo has turned out to be a complete failure of recruitment, as at least the difference between the debut of the Guinean and the Brazilian is a total abyss of difference, as Naby managed to appear on the field upon his arrival on Merseyside on 33 occasions, while Arthur only has 1.
