He dented Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby and is now injured

He took it upon himself to sour Liverpool during the Merseyside derby against Everton at Goodison Park last Saturday, but due to the demands on his goalkeeping he picked up a muscle injury that will keep him out of action until next October. So his team will be in trouble to get a goalkeeper to make up for his absence. 

28-year-old goalkeeper Jordan Pickford underwent medical tests after Everton's defeat to Liverpool. The result was that he has a muscular problem in his thigh and will be sidelined until after the next international break in the last few days of September, meaning he will not be available for England's World Cup warm-up games in Qatar.
