There is no doubt that Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool will go down in history as one of the best teams Anfield has ever seen. That great group of players led by the German tactician conquered the football world and won every possible trophy, including the Champions League, the Premier League and even the Club World Cup.

That great team had great players and consecrated several players in the elite of world football. Klopp managed to bring together three of the most dangerous players in Europe and formed a great trident with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané and Roberto Firmino, who formed one of the most feared combinations in European football. These three players enamored the Anfield fans for years, but now only Salah remains in the team.

It seems that the Saudi Arabian league continues with its plan to take away the great figures of world football, because unlike the MLS and the Chinese league, the Saudi Pro League has signed players who are still in their prime or world-class players who although they are in the last years of their career could still play in Europe.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, one of Liverpool's last greats has decided to join the Saudi Arabian league, as he reported that Roberto Firmino has reached a verbal agreement to join Al-Ahli until June 2026.

Firmino's time at Liverpool

Roberto Firmino joined Liverpool in 2015 from Hoffenheim for €41 million. He quickly won the hearts of Anfield thanks to his great performances and was one of the key pieces for our Liverpool to conquer Europe in recent years. With the Reds shirt he scored a total of 111 goals and won every possible trophy in England and in Europe with Liverpool.
