The Portuguese is already in Saudi Arabia and had his first interaction with the team where he will earn 200 million a year

Cristiano Ronaldo's historic Tuesday for Arab football as he was unveiled at Al Nassr, with the Portuguese legend speaking to the media for the first time at a press conference in which he said he received offers "from half the world", including MLS, but gave his word to the Saudis because his work "goes beyond sport" this time around.

Wearing an elegant grey suit, very smiling and assuring that "his family supports him completely" in the face of rumours of a possible rift with Georgina Rodriguez, the Portuguese explained that he chose Al Nassr to transcend beyond football and that the eyes of the world give Saudi Arabia a chance.

One more signing, this player is all Liverpool need to be champions

The clause that would allow Cristiano Ronaldo to leave Arabia for Anfield, Klopp surprised

"For me it's a great opportunity not only in football, but also to change the mentality of the new generations. I had many opportunities in Europe, in Brazil, Portugal, Australia, MLS, but I gave my word with Al Nassr to develop not only football, but also other areas of this country, I know perfectly well what I want and what I don't want, with my experience I know I can contribute to bring a different vision of the country to the world," he said.

Always in high spirits despite his recent sporting failures with the Portugal national team at the World Cup and with Manchester United, the Madeira native did not spare any praise for himself at the presentation, before going on to perform in front of a packed stadium. "I'm a unique player and it's good to be here, my contract is unique because I'm unique, I've already broken all the records in Europe with big clubs, the challenges for me are something normal because I'm someone special," he said. "I come to win, to enjoy, to be part of the success of Arab football, to help change the perspective that certain people have of Arab culture, to thank Al Nassr."

Clause to return to Premier League

In that unique contract for a "unique" player, there is reportedly a clause that would allow him to return to the Premier League if teams such as Newcastle, with links to Saudi Arabia, show interest in signing him. This brings a smile to the face of manager Jurgen Klopp, as it opens up the possibility that the Portuguese could have one more game at Anfield against Liverpool, something that would motivate his players.
