Jude Bellingham will be announced in the coming days as Real Madrid's big money signing for the 2023/2024 season, with the young Englishman from Borussia Dortmund set to leave Signal Iduna Park this summer for the Santiago Bernabeu in a deal reported by Fabrizio Romano to be worth more than 100 million euros.

Dortmund have reached an agreement in principle to sign Bellingham for 100 million euros plus an as yet unknown number of variables, with the player prioritising his arrival at Real Madrid over Manchester City and Liverpool, who until now have seemed to be the main rivals for Carlo Ancelotti's side to sign the British player. This season he has made an important leap in individual quality and has gone on to wear the shirt of Real Madrid, who have undoubtedly made a big splash in the transfer market with one of the great talents of the present and future of world football.

Real Madrid have been aware at all times of the need to make an important offer to get the English player, having to make that economic effort to convince Borussia Dortmund, being those 100 million fixed that Florentino Pérez must put on the table of the Signal Iduna Park team immediately to convince the German team of the transfer of the English midfielder and put an end to a soap opera that has been keeping Madrid fans on tenterhooks for several months.

The nickname

The wit of Liverpool fans was not long in coming and after Bellingham chose Real Madrid on social networks they began to criticise him and even on Twitter his new nickname began to circulate. Now the Reds fans know him as Judas Bellingham
