Liverpool reportedly in pole position to sign Bellingham

Liverpool are undoubtedly Real Madrid's great rivals in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund's English midfielder Jude Bellingham, with the Anfield outfit having taken some advantage over Carlo Ancelotti's side to secure the services of the 19-year-old British player, who would be Jurgen Klopp's choice to begin a rebuilding of the Reds' midfield.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool are in pole position to sign Bellingham for the 2023/2024 season, and the first contacts with the German club could have been made given the good relations between the two clubs to find out first hand the predisposition of both Dortmund and Bellingham to carry out an agreement that would see the young British talent playing for the English side from 1 July, being a plan with which Liverpool want to distance Real Madrid in the race for the British talent.

This season seems to be the definitive one in which Jude Bellingham has finally exploded in the Bundesliga, scoring ten goals and four assists in 24 games, being one of the most outstanding players of the German team at just 19 years old.
