It hasn't all been positive for the Portuguese on his unveiling with Al Nassr, as he had an apparent rift with Georgina

Cristiano Ronaldo was officially presented by Al Nassr, with whom he signed a contract worth 200 million euros per year until 2025. The Portuguese showed off his self-confidence to make it clear why he signed for an unknown club, but with a generous chequebook. "This contract is unique because I am a unique player," said CR7 at the press conference before the presentation to the fans at the Al Nassr stadium.

He may be the highest-paid footballer in history, but it's clear he's not keeping his missus very happy. Cristiano Ronaldo's presentation with Al Nassr was lavish and spectacular, a packed stadium welcomed its new hero, but among the most striking was Georgina Rodriguez's cold and distant attitude towards CR7.

Everyone gave Cristiano a standing ovation, from the journalists at his first press conference to the Al Nassr fans, who at times did not let the Portuguese speak because of the roar with which they chanted his name. He was very happy, with a speech of thanks and calling himself a "unique player with a unique contract", but the one who practically never smiled was Georgina.

It was only on Monday that reports emerged that CR7 and Geo Rodriguez are going through a couple's crisis. Even the TV programme Socialité - the same one that uncovered a compromising video of Gerard Piqué - claimed that "the couple are only together out of interest", quoting Cristiano's family for such an assertion.

Showing love to Luis Díaz

Liverpool star Luis Diaz, who is recovering from a knee injury, is loved by his wife. "Sometimes the difficulties that we encounter in our life, directly prepare us to place us on the road. Now patience and strength are fundamental, but above all the love of the family. We are all here for you, the same as always and we will see you come back stronger," wrote Geraldine Ponce, wife of the Colombian footballer, on her social networks, who showed a photo of the athlete in the hospital after the surgery.
