Another low blow for Klopp from FSG as Liverpool squander millions but fail to deliver on signings

The Reds are still awaiting the arrival of a couple of reinforcements to close the winter transfer window

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp, who after losing in London to Brentford FC in an unbelievable manner, was once again disappointed and now with his board, as the latest move by Fenway Sports Group (FSG) to pamper his favourite club the Red's Sox's with the renewal of the baseball player Rafael Devers for 11 years and 331 MDD in the Major Leagues has been revealed.

This news was taken in the worst way by the German coach who saw how once again FSG relegated The Pool, and it is now more than ever that signings are needed to reverse the course that currently has the club, since with the stumble at the Community Stadium, the Red's remain in sixth place in the Premiere League, tied with the same 28 units with Fulham FC.

FSG gave Klopp a boost a few days ago with the signing of Dutch gem Cody Gakpo, who is set to make his debut and help Mohamed Salah, who has carried the goalscoring burden in Liverpool's recent matches, in attack. In addition to Gakpo, the German manager is planning to sign a couple of players such as Jude Bellingham and Moises Caicedo.

Through million-dollar injections FSG is trying to help the Red Sox who since their 2018 championship have gone through bittersweet seasons in the MLB, are now trying to bounce back after a 2022 season where they posted a 78-84 record and were last place in the American League East Division. It's worth mentioning that a year earlier they won 92 games and made it to the Championship Series.
