Liverpool lost further ground in the race for a top-four finish in the English Premier League as they lost 3-1 to Brentford on Monday. Sloppy defending cost Liverpool twice in the first half, prompting an angry Jurgen Klopp to replace key defender Virgil van Dijk at halftime.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain pulled one back but Bryan Mbeumo killed Liverpool off as Brentford beat the visitors for the first time since 1938 in all competitions. Brentford climbed from 10th to seventh in the table. It was two points behind Liverpool who are sixth and moving away from the Champions League places.

In this regard, the Twitter account Anfield Edition rescued a publication of Al Nassr, club that signed Cristiano Ronaldo. From the photo published, the media outlet deduced that Brazilian Roberto Firmino could leave for the Arab club.
