Liverpool's homegrown talent, Trent Alexander-Arnold, is reportedly considering a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid this January transfer window.
Sources close to the player suggest that the England international has expressed a keen interest in a switch to the Santiago Bernabéu, where he would link up with fellow countryman Jude Bellingham.
Alexander-Arnold, who currently earns £160,000 per week at Anfield, is believed to be attracted by the allure of playing for one of the biggest clubs in world football.
While Liverpool have been reluctant to part ways with their academy graduate, the prospect of a significant transfer fee could tempt the Merseyside club to sanction a sale. Real Madrid, meanwhile, are in the market for a versatile full-back and see Alexander-Arnold as the ideal candidate to bolster their squad.
With the January transfer window now open, it remains to be seen whether a deal can be struck between the two clubs. Alexander-Arnold's potential departure would undoubtedly be a significant blow to Liverpool, who have relied heavily on his creativity and defensive abilities in recent seasons.
