Putting aside all the problems that both teams have brought to this Carabao Cup final, Jürgen Klopp's men remain overwhelming favorites to win the trophy at the home of Manchester United, being this duel a revenge not only for the defeat in the Premier League weeks ago, but also for the final of this competition in the 2021-2022 edition and for the duel between Klopp and Pochettino, two coaches who already have a past but in the UEFA Champions League final.

Liverpool's superiority for some time now could become gigantic this Sunday if they manage to get the desired result and therefore the championship, being under these circumstances clear that the Reds are a better team in every aspect, surpassing the Merseyside team not only in technical quality, but also in squad.

With a 4-1 Premier League thrashing and a Carabao Cup final loss in less than a month, it is evident that what Klopp has done surpasses Pochettino's attempts, but beyond the technical aspect, the big difference between these two clubs would be in midfield, with Mac Allister and Wataru Endo being much more and better players than Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo are today.

It is no news to anyone to know that what the Reds' central midfielder has done this season is at the level of the best teams in Europe, the opposite is true for the Blues, where the former Benfica and Brighton player has been classified as one of the worst disappointments of this season in the PL, confirmed by his coach who has said that his players are not up to the task.

Klopp's midfield will be the big legacy to the new coach

With the losses in the squad, there is a chance that the Reds can see a clear path to the title from the midfield, an area that has been very well reinforced and has elite players that must be well managed by the new coach, being Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Gravenberch and Endo an excellent base with which to plan the next season, being today all these elements part of the reason why the squad will play a final at Wembley.
