French scandal brings Mbappe closer to signing for Liverpool, Klopp could also step in

Kylian Mbappé went berserk on Wednesday and made a reprehensible gesture towards a PSG assistant during the celebrations for winning the French Super Cup. Kylian Mbappé made a diva-like rant at one of the Paris Saint-Germain staff members, which was caught on camera. After beating Toulouse in the final, the Parisians were celebrating the title at the Parc des Princes with their fans, but the trophy found its way into the hands of a club assistant.

It was then that the France star angrily went to the bench to snatch the cup from the man who showed his discomfort at the striker's scolding. Once he had the championship back in his hands, the 25-year-old lifted it high in the air to continue celebrating, never thinking he would be on display hours later. Kylian Mbappé could not hide his feelings about the possibility of joining Real Madrid next season, so when questioned about it, his reaction gave him away.

Arriving at the Ballon d'Or 2023 gala, the Paris Saint-Germain star was asked by a reporter if he would sign for Liverpool next season. The 24-year-old striker's gesture with a smile was enough to get all the fans of the Spanish capital club excited about his arrival once again. Although his start to this campaign has not been as convincing as others, Kylian Mbappé could be the missing piece in Liverpool's jigsaw in their quest for more silverware.

Mbappe closes in on Liverpool

On social media, user Julien Laurens revealed that Kylian Mbappe wants to join Liverpool in the summer. He loves Jürgen Klopp and Anfield. There is a deal in place however not a financial agreement yet. This could really happen.
