After the game against the Gunners, the Reds dropped important points after the draw at Anfield, but it wasn't the worst thing to happen to Liverpool, as two Reds players had to come off injured, which is the worst news on Merseyside.
The first player to go off was Greece's Kostas Tsimikas, who after a collision with Bukayo Saka on the left flank, where the Reds defender took the brunt of a collision with Jürgen Klopp and ended up with a collarbone problem, his injury is somewhat delicate.
The same happened to Luis Diaz who, after a collision with Bakuyo Saka, also had to come off the bench. However, the Reds' left wing was already suffering with the injury to Andy Robertson, who is expected to return at the end of January. Tsimikas, meanwhile, could take approximately six to eight weeks depending on his progress.
While Joe Gomez performed excellently in place of Tsimikas, and will be the replacement on the left flank for the last few games of the season, the Reds will need to think carefully about their next move as they look for a second choice, as injuries are a constant on Merseyside.
After Andy Robertson's unfortunate injury with the Scotland national team, Tsimikas had done a great job in replacing Robo, as he managed to make three assists, as well as gaining a lot of confidence, as his level was increasing a lot, being a player who contributed to the attack and in the defensive work of the team, fulfilling the Greek's wishes.
