The last game of our Liverpool in the Premier League last weekend against Newcastle left us great joys, because in addition to the exciting and agonizing victory, we could see a Darwin Nunez at a great level, as well as other players who gave their best effort and surprised everyone with how well they played, however it seems that one of them could leave the team before the transfer market closes.
There is no doubt that the hero of that game was Darwin Nunez, who seems to have taken a big weight off his shoulders with that double, because last season was full of criticism towards him because he did not meet the expectations that were had of him having cost 80 million euros, but he has shown that he has quality and there were even recent rumors that Chelsea might be interested in him, but rest assured that Darwin is not going anywhere.
However, it seems that the current first team squad could still have movements and one of the players who was active against Newcastle, and who even won praise from Jürgen Klopp and Trent Alexander-Arnold, could have played his last game of the 2023-2024 season as a Liverpool player.
We are talking about Jarell Quansah, the 20-year-old English central defender who due to Virgil van Dijk's dismissal and Joel Matip's fatigue, ended up playing alongside Joe Gomez in the central defense of our team, doing so well that Klopp assured that Quansah is a very special talent and that he certainly has a future in the team, but now with Liverpool's interest in signing a defender, it could cause Quansah to leave on loan before the end of the transfer window.
So far there is no specific team known to be close to sign Jarell Quansah on loan, but no doubt there will be no shortage of Championship or lower Premier League teams looking to bring him into their team on a one-year deal, as according to journalist David Lynch, Liverpool are considering loaning him out this season.
