The transfer market could still have one or two surprises for our Liverpool, as various media claim that Jürgen Klopp would be very interested in signing one of the most important players that Real Madrid has to strengthen the team for next season.
For several weeks there had been rumors about Klopp's interest in Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde, and although it seems that the interest of the Reds in the 24-year-old player was real, both the board of Los Blancos and the player himself would have rejected the idea of joining the biggest club in the Premier League.
However, it seems that Jürgen Klopp will not give up and is determined to give Real Madrid a hard blow, taking advantage of the situation that the Spanish giants are going through. In that sense, the German tactician would have on his radar the 23-year-old French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni to reinforce the Reds' midfield, especially before the imminent departures of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, who could leave around £60 million profit for Liverpool, who in turn could use that money to make a good offer for Tchouameni.
The Frenchman was one of the key players for Real Madrid in the first half of the season, becoming a starting player until he got injured. According to The Telegraph, Tchouameni is a serious target for Klopp as he was also interested in him last year, but Monaco eventually sold him to Madrid. However, for a possible arrival of the player at Anfield to materialize, a couple of things need to happen.
It seems that everything will depend on Kylian Mbappé's situation, because if Real Madrid finally decide to buy him this summer, they would be forced to sell a player to be able to afford everything that the signing of Mbappé would entail. At that moment, Liverpool could bid for Aurelien Tchouameni and try to convince him, because according to journalist Dominic King the player would be very happy in Spain and would refuse to leave the team.
