The transfer window is less than two weeks away from starting in England and although there can't be any official movement until June 14, teams have started to close signings ahead of the next Premier League campaign. One of the signings closest to becoming official is that of Alexis Mac Allister who is just days away from becoming Liverpool's first reinforcement.
Jürgen Klopp has prioritized the arrival of the World Cup winner for several months now and everything seems to indicate that it is only a matter of days before it becomes official. Liverpool took advantage of a "bargain" for Mac Allister, because according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the price paid by the Reds' board would be between 50 and 58 million euros, a sum that would be very affordable for the Anfield club.
However, Mac Allister's arrival would not be the only one in this transfer window for Liverpool, as the World Cup winner would only be the first of several signings that the Reds' board has planned, particularly in midfield where they already have at least two or three more moves in mind, following the departure of big names such as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner and Naby Keita, who left as free agents.
Alexis Mac Allister had become a fundamental piece in Brighton & Hove Albion's scheme, however his departure from the team seems inevitable, since the 24-year-old has already said goodbye to his teammates and the fans. With his departure, Liverpool legend in recent years, James Milner, will arrive to try to fill his absence. Milner has won every trophy possible with the Reds and will arrive at Brighton at zero cost.
