This summer we could see the end of one of the most disappointing failed sporting projects in the history of football, because after millions and millions of euros invested, Paris Saint-Germain has not been able to win the Champions League and now, with the imminent departure of Kylian Mbappé from the team it seems that other great PSG players would follow suit and could leave the club this summer and in that sense our Liverpool could be a team to consider as a possible buyer.
Since a few weeks ago and even to date, there are portals and media that continue to put our Liverpool as one of the teams interested in Kylian Mbappé and that supposedly could make a last minute attempt to take the French star even for a year, this despite the fact that Jürgen Klopp himself already denied a few days ago that the Reds are considering entering the fight for Mbappé, plainly and simply for an economic issue.
However, although Klopp has ruled out that Liverpool will make a move for Kylian Mbappé, what is true is the club's need to sign a midfielder and the German tactician would be very attentive to what happens at PSG, as it seems that Mbappé may not be the only player to leave the Parisian club this summer.
Undoubtedly the PSG project seems to crumble with the departure of Kylian Mbappé, who seems to be closer and closer to Real Madrid and his departure could generate a domino effect that could benefit our Liverpool, who is patiently watching to try to steal one of the most valuable players of the French side in recent years and who is rumored to be open to leave PSG.
Since a few days ago, Liverpool's interest in Marco Verratti, the 30-year-old midfielder who has spent several years at PSG where he has become one of the best in the world in his position, was reported. In addition to Liverpool, two Saudi Arabian clubs are reportedly interested in signing the Italian, who is not reluctant to leave the French league this summer, and PSG itself would be willing to sell him and have already communicated the price for which Verratti could leave the club, as according to journalist Ben Jacobs they are asking between 70 and 80 million euros to sell him.
