Anfield is preparing for one of the biggest classics in world football this Sunday (5), when Liverpool and Manchester United face each other in the Premier League. The match, scheduled for 1:30 pm (Brasília time), promises strong emotions and a fierce dispute between two of the most traditional teams in England.
In Brazil, the match will be broadcast live on ESPN channels. For subscribers, it will also be possible to follow the game through the Star+ streaming service.
For the game at Anfield, Arne Slot has some absences. The most recent is defender Joe Gomez, who suffered a hamstring injury in the 5-0 victory over West Ham. Ibrahima Konaté, Conor Bradley and Federico Chiesa, in turn, remain out. On the other hand, Mason Mount, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw, in turn, remain injured and are absent from the match and these are problems for coach Rúben Amorim.
The match promises to be very competitive, with both teams looking for victory to get closer to the top positions in the table. Liverpool, playing at home, will have the support of the fans and will seek to impose their pace of play to extend their lead over Arsenal, in second place. Manchester United, who are in a terrible phase, will try to surprise their rival and leave Anfield with a positive result.
